The lowest cards able to be moved to the foundation will automatically move there when open, which isn't an issue since no cards under them can be placed. This hasn't been a problem in my experience, though.
As such, keeping cells free is very important.Ĭards moved to the foundations cannot be drawn back on the field, so be careful. If you have all cells full and no columns open, you'll only be able to move one card at a time. You can also only move a certain amount of cards in a stack (as opposed to an entire stack in Klondike), which depends on the amount of empty columns and cells you have open.
Stacks of cards can be moved to other stacks, but you might not want to if it buries certain cards even deeper under rubble. However, cards can only leave the cells when they fit onto a column or into a foundation. This can be used to dig out certain cards from underneath other cards, reorder a stack properly, etc. The special rule to FreeCell is that you have four free cells open, which you can use to hold a total of four cards.
